I first met Sue at the county fair where she was selling raffles for a handmade quilt. We began to talk and quickly made several connections – teaching, the church, the land we now own was once hers, quilting, etc. I didn’t win a quilt; but, I did gain a dear, dear friend. Over the years it has been my joy to drop by and visit. Sitting knee to knee our conversations covered many and varied topics. I miss you already, sweet friend.
