Melba Dene Deramo, 82, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was a homemaker and attended Center Point Freewill Baptist Church in Mulberry, AR. She loved painting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was born October 16, 1938 in Clarksville, AR to the late Homer and Vivian (King) Alderson and also preceded in death by brothers, Ellis W. and George Alderson and a granddaughter, Ashley Walker..

Service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Mulberry Freewill Baptist Church with interment in Rankin Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The service will be livestreamed on the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Facebook page.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Deramo of the home; daughters, Jackie Smith and husband Roger and Deana Deramo; sisters, Donna Henson, Lenora Fimpel, Linda Weatherl, Karen Crowley, Sharon Long and Sandra Whelchel; brothers, James Alderson and Eddie Alderson and Danny Alderson; grandchildren, Joe and Paul Gramlich, Anita Kelley and Angela GrazierJake and Casey; Great Grandchildren, Kevin, Houston, Madison, Mackinze, Jordan, Jaden, Sharla, Emily, Caroline, Christian, Wyatt, Clarissa and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joe Gramlich, Paul Gramlich, Jake Smith, Casey Beam, Bruce Fimpel and Danny Alderson.
