Obituary for Delbert H Gantt Jr.
Delbert H. Gantt, Jr. 59 of Fort Smith passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in a local hospital. He was employed at Gerdau (Macsteel) Company of Fort Smith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Hamilton Gantt, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years Il Sin Gantt of the home; one daughter Stephanie Early of Hinesville, Georgia; three sons Bryan Gantt of Fort Smith, Michael Gantt of Beaumont, Texas and Matthew Gantt of JE JU, South Korea; his mother Margaret Gantt of Fort Smith; two sisters Teresa Palucho and Janice Tiffin both of Fort Smith; two brothers James Gantt of Fallon, Nevada and Randy Gantt of Roland, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11AM, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Salem Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
