Obituary for Joshua Steven Hatfield

Joshua Steven Hatfield, 38 of Fort Smith passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 in his home.
He worked at Best Western Van Buren. He was a graduate of Vancouver Film School with a degree in Writing for film, Television and Interactive Media. Joshua will be missed; we won’t hear that huge belly laugh from another room, his quick witted humor, and his great hugs. He leaves behind many family and friends and we know that he is at peace now. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bobby and Patsy (Renfro) Satterfield; his paternal grandfather, Ron Hatfield; and his step-mother Tammy Hatfield.

Memorial service will be at 5 P.M. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with a visitation to follow from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his parents Theresa Field and husband Chris of Van Buren, Steve and wife Beth Hatfield of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister Kara Irvin and husband Sam of Maumelle, Arkansas; his paternal grandmother Pat Hatfield; his step siblings, Mishelle Davis, Sarah Morgan, Scott Field and Taylor Ralston.
